Concrete Cleaning & Sealing

Sealing is the cheapest way to make concrete last longer up here. We wash and degrease driveways, aprons, walks and stamped patios, then reseal them, with a salt-repellent sealer on aprons that take the brunt of winter.

What we do

  1. Wash. Pressure wash to get dirt and loose material off.
  2. Degrease. Oil and grease stains get treated so the sealer bonds.
  3. Dry. The surface has to dry out before sealer goes on.
  4. Seal. Salt-repellent sealer on aprons and walks that see salt, and a sealer that brings back the color on stamped work.

When to seal

Before winter is the time. Salt from cars and walkways is what eats unsealed concrete, especially on the apron in front of the garage. New concrete needs time to dry first, about a month. After that, plan on resealing every few years, or when water stops beading on the surface.

Questions

Straight answers.

Don't see yours? Call (607) 244-5118. You'll talk to the people doing the work.

Do you seal concrete you didn't pour?

Yes. We'll look at it first and tell you honestly if it's worth sealing or needs repair.

How long does sealer last?

It depends on traffic and salt. Driveways and aprons need it more often than a patio. When water stops beading, it's time.
