Excavation & Foundation Digs
Every concrete job starts in the dirt, so we own the machines to do it: a mini excavator, a compact track loader, skid steer attachments and a dump truck. We dig footings, foundations and trenches, set tanks and drain lines, and haul the spoil away.
What we dig
- Footings and foundations for homes, additions, garages and ICF walls
- Thickened slab edges for monolithic slabs
- Trenches for drain lines and utilities
- Tank and drain work, like the tank and drain line we put in for a commercial filtration system in Waverly
- Backfill and grading once foundations are done
Dig safe
New York law requires a call to the one-call center before anyone digs, so buried gas, electric and water lines get marked. We handle that on our jobs. If you're digging yourself, read our 811 guide first.
One crew, start to finish
Because we do excavation and concrete, there's no waiting on a second contractor between the dig and the pour. The person who dug your footings is the same one checking the forms.

Do you only dig for your own concrete jobs?
No. We take excavation work on its own too: foundations, trenches, tanks, drainage and grading.
Can you haul away the dirt?
Yes, with our own dump truck, or spread it on site if that's what you want.
