Concrete Removal & Replacement

Old, broken, heaved concrete doesn't get better. We break it out, haul it away with our own dump truck, fix the base that caused the problem and pour new, reinforced concrete that lasts.

Residential tear-out and replace

In Hamilton we removed old, broken concrete and replaced it with new concrete with reinforcement and a proper base. That job also had concrete under a deck, so we jacked the deck up, removed the deteriorating concrete, poured new and set the deck back down. Driveways, aprons, walks, patios, garage floors: same idea.

Commercial cut and replace

For a water filtration system install at a collision shop in Waverly, we cut and removed concrete inside the working building, dug for the drain line and tank, then patched the floor back. Saw cutting was done by a concrete cutting partner. See the project.

Why concrete fails

  • A soft or thin base that settles or holds water
  • No reinforcement where it was needed
  • Too few control joints, so it cracked wherever it wanted
  • Years of salt on a surface that was never sealed

We fix the cause, not just the slab.
