Concrete Slabs & Pads
Shed pads, hot tub pads, generator and equipment pads, and slabs of every size. Small or big, they all need the same things: solid, compacted ground, the right thickness and a level finish.
Pads we pour
- Shed and small building pads
- Hot tub pads, sized and reinforced for a full tub
- Generator, AC and equipment pads
- Pads for community use, like the one we poured for the Chenango County 4-H at the Chenango County Fairgrounds so they had a level spot for a handicap accessible picnic table
- Larger slabs and monolithic slabs for garages and shops
Why the ground matters
A pad is only as good as what's under it. We strip topsoil, compact a crushed stone base and set forms level, or sloped just enough to shed water. On sloped yards we can cut and fill with our own equipment so the pad sits right.

How thick should a shed pad be?
Most sheds sit fine on a standard slab, but heavier buildings and equipment need more. Tell us what's going on it and we'll size it.
Do I need a permit for a pad?
It depends on your town and what's going on it. Your code enforcement office can tell you. We're happy to help you figure out what to ask.
