Pool Decks & Hot Tub Pads
Pool decks need to drain, stay cool enough underfoot and not be slick. Hot tub pads need to hold a lot of weight. We pour both, broom finish or stamped, including a pool patio and a seamless stamped hot tub patio in North Norwich.
Pool decks
- Slope away from the pool so rain and splash water drain off the deck, not into the pool.
- Finish. Broom finish for grip, or stamped for looks with a slip-resistant additive in the sealer.
- Joints planned around the pool shape so cracks follow them.
Hot tub pads
A filled hot tub with people in it is heavy. The pad gets a compacted base and a slab sized and reinforced for the load. Tell us the tub model and where the electric will run before we pour. We've done a seamless stamped hot tub patio that turned the tub into part of the backyard instead of a box sitting in the grass.

Can you pour a deck around an existing pool?
Yes. We form around the pool and protect it during the pour.
Is stamped concrete slippery around a pool?
It can be when wet. We add a slip-resistant additive to the sealer and pick textures that grip.
