Barndominium Floor, Holland Patent

A barndo floor in Holland Patent, just north of Utica, that took about 60 yards of concrete. The floor went over radiant heat tubing on insulation board, and the crew knocked it out of the park.

Over radiant heat

The heating tubing was laid on insulation board before the pour. We placed the concrete over it carefully so nothing moved or got damaged, working out from one end of the building.

Flat and smooth

A big crew screeded the floor flat, then power troweled it to a smooth finish under the trusses. Control joints were saw cut on a grid.

Teamwork

A 60 yard floor is a lot of concrete in one day. Thanks to everyone who came out and helped.
